Path of Sorcerers: Course Demo
This demo is the result of a challenge project that I made for the course that is part of the game dev curriculum: Learn GameDev From Zero with Godot by GDQuest
This is a simple top-down shooter where your objective is to defeat enemies in your path and reach the end of the level.
I experimented a bit, and I added and changed a few things, mainly:
- Different weapons with special effects that can be picked up
- Items description on mouse over
- Knockback mechanic
- (Very) Simple animations
- Stronger enemies to make the game quite a bit more challenging
- Enemies aggro on being hit
- Equipped weapon HUD
- Optional healing with pickup items
